  WT Society SEC Records : Hedge Funds, Cayman Islands, Financial Losses - Links

  so my wife and i were curious so i researched some financial links and found records indicating that the wt society has been operating at a loss since the year 2012. as you read the links it shows a loss of 10 million $$$ in 2012, about 16 million $$$ in 2013, and a whopping loss of 56 million $$$ in 2014 - where the expenditures exceeded the revenues for each of those years in the amount i've mentioned.

  also there is a link on this same website with the sec records indicating that the wt society and it's representatives funneled 40 million $$$$ into hedge funds in the cayman islands as early as 2007. if you look online on other sites you can see evidence that indicates the wt society attended hedge fund conferences to look into more shadiness in 2011 and isn't it curious that by 2012 the wt society started showing losses.

  Effect on youths of Bethel and construction cuts

  i know quite a few youths (late teens to early twenties) who have the goal of full time service, as bethelites or international construction, so they're doing the required slog of pioneering in order to achieve this goal.

  this is a goal which has been excitedly set out for them the last few years or so at assemblies etc.

  now they see the cuts, surely they are going to be discouraged and disillusioned.

  apparently the rumors are circulating everywhere i go, even people from the spanish congs are talking about it.

  what's really sad is that the majority of people are already seeing this as "clear" signs of the end coming.

  i am still serving as an elder but just hanging in there.

  i think their quandry is that they don't see me out in the field, but when they need encouragement and decent prayer they come to me.. i just got off the phone to this poor sister who i have only met twice.

  she is not even in my congregation (her sister is).

  hell it even surprises at just how slowly information spreads by offical means.

  It must be very disconcerting to have only a so-called ''elite'' discuss thing at the very top only to have moments later discussed by everyone on websites. I'm sure only a handful of people know about the letter before anyone like CO's or Zone Overseers know.

  Like someone said earlier, they could make some phony ''leaked'' letters in kind of a ruse in attempt to narrow down who may be leaking things. Doubt that would work though, it would just create more paranoia, or create confusion.

  I just want to add that those videos can be very moving. I remember at the Regional Convention with those video dramas. They throw in that cheesy music to add to the drama. People grabbing their purses for their wipes. Very clever idea to induce these videos instead of printing. Gotta give them that.

  Makes all fine sense. To become a video company from a printing company. The savings of money in the long run are astronomical. Plus letting-go all those Bethellites, a lot less overhead, like meals, clothing. Just everything would be a hug cost saving. wow!

  Cedars leaked letter requested to be taken down by WTBTS

  i don't know if this is already posted so sorry people if it is.

  cedars site has had a request to take down the leaked letter regarding changes to the theocratic ministry school and other issues.. the reason given by wt is that it is a "copyright" issue.

  of course this validates the letters authenticity even more.. have a good day or night people.

  Yeah, I was just thinking the anxiety and paranoia the higher-ups must now have before releasing something. Because even before it's released to the CO's or anyone of that nature, it's already common knowledge to the general public it seems. Like I mentioned, I'm sure only a very discreet few had this information, prior to the leak. I'm sure there's a sense of sincere suspicion with the high, high end ones
